Sweet Corn Cilantro Ice Cream

1.5 cups milk
2 ears of sweet corn (shucked, kernels cut off and cob cut in large chunks)
1.5 cups heavy cream
2/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp corn syrup
1/4 tsp salt
bunch cilantro (about 20 stems worth of leaves)
3 tbsp cream cheese (softened)
4 tsp cornstarch
juice of one lime
