Coffee Crunch Topping
1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1 tbsp baking soda

Chiffon Cake
1 1/4 cup flour, sifted
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
6 egg yolks
1/4 cup water
1 cup egg whites (6-8 egg whites)
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest

Whipped Cream
2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 1/2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
