1 lb. lean ground turkey or chicken
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 red or green bell pepper, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (15 oz.) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes, with liquid
1 cup frozen corn or (drained) canned corn
1 cup water
1 cup quinoa, dried
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
salt and pepper to taste
